Let's say you're a world famous golfer with a tawdry marital scandal on your hands. Who do you call to help clean up your mess?
Who do the very rich and powerful call when their reputations are in jeopardy? According to crisis consultant Robbie Vorhaus the top three firms for crisis management maximus are Hill & Knowlton, Burson Marsteller, or Washington-based Levick Communications.
Vorhaus suspects that in the coming days one of these firms will swoop in to manage the Tiger Woods affair.
How much is such a plum assignment worth? Hundreds of thousands of dollars and bragging rights in the "fixer" world for the next decade.
